Perhaps the greatest benefit of membership is that of belonging to an organization of friendly, helpful, people, who have goals, plans, and challenges of running their business in an atmosphere providing the most flexibility: their own homes.
Newsletter
The newsletter is distributed to all members and various business institutions throughout the community. A professional publication in both content and design, it provides information and advice of interest to home business operators. Major features include:
- Members Profile. Why not take advantage of our business profile section to promote your business?
- Business Card Showcase. Every member may have his or her business card reproduced once a year, free of charge. Additional advertising can be provided at excellent rates.
- Members Directory. A directory is available for members. It provides a ready reference, and handy summary of contact information.
Membership: $75.00 per year
- Full Business Member. Any home-based business shall, upon application, payment of annual fees, and approval of the Executive Committee, be accepted as a Full Business Member of KAHBA.
- Associate Business Member. Any other business, organization, or association which has dealings with home-based businesses and supports the purpose of KAHBA may, upon application, payment of annual membership fees, and approval of the Executive Committee, be accepted as an Associate Business Member of KAHBA.
Meetings
Breakfast meetings are held the second Saturday of every month. These provide opportunities for:
- meeting people in an informal, friendly atmosphere;
- hearing interesting guest speakers;
- sharing information; and
- seeking advice from others.
Our meetings are well attended, and networking is encouraged before and afterwards, with this lively, pro-active group. Guests are always welcomed.
